The Greenville Heritage Day Festival will be hosting the 5th annual Heritage Day 5k run/fun walk. Bring the family for the race and stay for the food, music and displays representing the history of Greenville.
Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2013
Time:
- 9:00 A.M. Race Start.
- Race Day Registration and packet pick-up is from 7:45 A.M. - 8:45 A.M.
The race will begin at Riverside Park and will proceed through downtown Greenville, before finishing with a loop through the park. This years course is mostly the same, but is now an out and back in the downtown due to a bridge being out.
Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female overall, as well as the first male and female master (over age 40). Awards will also be given to the top three male and females in each age group. The age groups are as follows.
9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+.
Door Prizes: Last year over 15 random drawing door prizes were awarded...just finish the race and you will automatically be entered to win! Must be present to win so stay after the race and enjoy the festival booths!
